Impact year is a gap year program for individuals who are either still deciding on their desired course of study or have earned a degree elsewhere but would like to devote a year to strengthening their relationship with God and testing out the calling on their lives.
During the impact year, students have the opportunity to be immersed in the daily life of ministry at City Church. Students serve with full time ministry staff and pastors to learn from a behind the scenes view of church life. They will experience daily prayer, bible classes, practical serving and outreach on a weekly basis. Discipleship and mentoring are provided by staff leaders through chapel services, daily interactions and one on one mentor meetings. Students also have the opportunity to minister overseas on one of several yearly missions trips. Students who enroll in the impact year can roll over into the 2 or 4 year degree program with SEU. Students who initially sign up through SEU for a 2 or 4 year degree programs will automatically be enrolled in the impact year.
